It's the Divine Blood Thing Again

Shades of the divine blood idea have come up in a discussion in the forums at Crosswalk.com. It is so difficult for some to just say that there is no special power in the substance of Christ's blood itself. They really feel that they cannot say this without taking something away from who Christ is. Who he is, though, is fully God and fully human, and if you deny that the material element of His blood is just like ours, then you are not protecting the fullness of who He is, but denying it.
