The Mad Pigeonholer Strikes Again
I've added another weird atonement theory series to the list of series. This series is one I wrote almost two years ago. Today I named the theory Universally Effective Atonement (not to be confused with either Univeral Atonement or Universal Salvation), since as far as I can tell it doesn't have a name yet. It's a theory of the atonement that is becoming more and more popular in certain circles--mostly fundamentalist ones, but not always.
When I wrote the series I'd interacted with only a few people who argued for it. Recently, I've seen it put forward more frequently. I've not seen any additional evidence given for it, however, or new twists in exactly how it's held, so I think the series still stands as it is.
